Giraffe, zebra, cheetah, hippo, crocodile, hyena, kudu, wildebeest, hundreds of bird species.
Sunrise drive and afternoon drive — the two windows when wildlife is most active. Plus guided bushwalks.

"We had a great experience working with Tarin and Remote Team Wellness to plan our leadership wellness retreat. From the planning stages to the delivery, wrap-up and reflection stages, everything was very smooth. Our team really enjoyed the whole experience and the venue was phenomenal. Tarin and her team were extremely attentive and created an off-site catered to our employees' needs and our company's objectives. I would highly recommend Remote Team Wellness for hosting and facilitating any company's wellness-focused events and off-sites."David K — President, Sensirion

Sashwa Lodge
A luxury bush lodge exclusive to the Kruger Retreat group — surrounded by the African wilderness, designed for deep rest.
Who This Is For
You have been running on empty. This retreat slows the pace deliberately — safari mornings, rest in between, no agenda to keep up with.
You have always wanted to experience the real African wilderness. This is the way to do it — with depth, not just ticking boxes.
Yoga, breathwork, sound healing — you are interested but not sure what to expect. Everything here is accessible and optional.
Most guests come alone. The group is small. Shared safari experiences create connection quickly — without it feeling forced.
A new chapter, a milestone, a moment you want to mark properly. Africa has a way of making things feel significant.
Wi-Fi is available, but so is the option to leave your phone on the nightstand. Many guests find this to be the unexpected highlight.
This retreat is not for you if you are looking for an intense detox programme, a purely physical fitness retreat, or expect strict schedules and structured itineraries. The pace here is intentionally unhurried.

The Experience
Each day follows a relaxing rhythm designed to balance adventure with restoration.
You'll begin with an optional Morning Reset featuring gentle movement, breathwork, and meditation before heading into the African wilderness for a sunrise safari.
After a nourishing breakfast, you'll enjoy free time to relax, visit the sauna, schedule a massage or private Tibetan singing bowl session, paint, journal, photograph wildlife, or simply enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
Later in the day we'll gather for yoga or a Bush Wisdom session before heading back into the wild for another unforgettable safari. Evenings end with delicious dinners, yin yoga, meditation, sound healing, fireside gatherings, or guided stargazing beneath the African sky.
Two game drives or walks per day.
Safari is one of the highlights of this retreat. You'll experience multiple sunrise and afternoon game drives throughout the week, exploring different areas of the Greater Kruger wilderness during the times when wildlife is most active.
No two safaris are ever the same — and that's part of what makes them so unforgettable.
Greater Kruger is one of the world's premier wildlife destinations.
Depending on nature, you may encounter the Big Five — lion, leopard, elephant, rhinoceros, and buffalo — as well as giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, hippos, crocodiles, hyenas, wildebeest, kudu, impalas, warthogs, baboons, monkeys, and hundreds of bird species.
Every drive brings new surprises.
Every emotion has a breathing pattern, and changing the way we breathe can influence how we feel.
Throughout the retreat you'll experience a variety of simple breathing techniques, each chosen for a different purpose. Some help calm the nervous system and reduce stress. Others gently increase energy, improve focus, promote emotional balance, support deeper sleep, or help you become fully present.
These practices are simple enough to continue at home and can become valuable tools for everyday life.
Our yoga sessions are designed for real life.
Rather than focusing on difficult poses, we use gentle movement to release tension, improve mobility, restore balance, and help your body feel comfortable after travel and safari adventures.
When the body relaxes, the mind often follows.
Africa has a remarkable way of slowing life down.
Meditation helps you become even more present for those moments — whether you're watching the sunrise over the African wilderness, listening to birds at dawn, or sitting quietly beneath a sky full of stars.
It's not about emptying your mind; it's about fully experiencing where you are.
During the retreat you'll enjoy deeply relaxing group sound healing experiences using Tibetan singing bowls.
Guests may also book a private on-the-body Tibetan singing bowl session, where the bowls are gently placed on or around the body to create soothing vibrations that encourage deep relaxation and a profound sense of calm.
Many guests describe these as one of the most memorable experiences of the week.
Your free time is yours to enjoy however you'd like. You might:
Some of the most magical moments happen when nothing is planned.
Yes. Far from city lights, the night skies over Greater Kruger are breathtaking.
On select evenings we'll gather beneath the stars to slow down, reflect on the day, and appreciate the vastness of the African sky — a peaceful experience that many guests remember long after returning home.
Of course you'll leave with incredible photographs and unforgettable safari memories.
What surprises many people is how they feel. More rested. More present. More grateful. More connected.
You'll also return home with practical tools — including breathing techniques, gentle movement practices, and mindfulness exercises — that can continue supporting your well-being long after the retreat ends.
